Adam Slater BMus (Hons) MPerf DipLCM

I am a highly qualified and experienced clarinet player and teacher. I am the clarinet teacher for Abbey Gate College near Chester and Bowdon Preparatory School. I also work for the Love Music Trust, teaching at primary schools across Cheshire East. I have taught at a variety of schools in London and given taster sessions on behalf of the London Philharmonic Orchestra Education. I also teach privately in Cheshire and Manchester. My students have been of all standards and ages with varying aims – preparing for an exam or just playing for fun.

I believe that building confidence in my students brings the best outcome, as they learn to take their own initiative in their approach to learning, and ultimately enjoy making music. My lessons have a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which creates the best environment to work in. I am also a skilled pianist with a Performance Diploma, and can accompany my students at exams and performances.
